Douglas College Foundation
Douglas College Foundation helps students reach their educational goals by removing financial barriers. Through the generosity and support of our donors, the Foundation is able to assist up to 20% of students through bursaries, awards and scholarships. This support assists people of all ages in their quest to obtain an education that will open doors to a brighter future. Douglas College Foundation believes that supporting education not only enhances the lives of individuals—it enriches our entire community.
“Just like a ripple effect when a stone is thrown into water, I will one day hope to pass on this support, generosity and charity by helping students in need just like you have done for me.”
C.B., Sign Language Interpretation student
At the Coquitlam and New Westminster campuses of Douglas College more than 12,000 full and part-time students are enrolled in degree and career programs that range from nursing to sports science, from hotel and restaurant management to performing arts. In addition, more than 23,000 students attend continuing education and specialized contract training courses. Our small classes and wide support programs ensure our students receive not only an excellent education but also the life skills they need to succeed in their chosen fields. Most of our students have full or part-time jobs and the support provided by generous donors is critical to their ability to stay in school. Your donation is an investment in the future of not only our students, but also our community.
